Profile of skills and competences
The overall aim of the training programme is for the qualified person to gain knowledge and skills within the following general competencies: Fitting, commissioning, fault finding, repair and maintenance tasks, including operation and service that is carried out on automated machines and systems where pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic and mechanical individual components are used. Including elevators, robot equipment, vision systems as well as communication systems plus operation and service on process systems as well as adjustment and optimisation of systems. In addition, the repair and maintenance on machinery and production systems, including mechanical repairs and alignments.
In addition, on level two of the Automation and Process training programme, the qualified person will be able to construct, commission, calibrate and optimise process systems as well as construct, commission, troubleshoot and correct errors on complex PLC controls in networks as well as process monitoring.
Additionally, the qualified person will be able to troubleshoot and correct errors on electronic modules that are part of automatic machinery and systems as well as install, construct and commission complex automatic machinery and systems – including perform maintenance as well as troubleshooting and error correction.
The qualified person will be able to perform construction changes and maintain documentation as well as provide instructions to users and also produce and adapt items for preparing machinery and hand tools.
